So I forgot to post a Warped Tour story yesterday (Oops!) But I am going to write a story today so yay!
It was a hot day at Warped Tour and I was standing in line to meet one of my favorite bands. I was missing Tonight Alive's set but I thought meeting this band would be completely worth it. As we approached the front of the line I saw one of the bands guitarists and he had cut his hair! He used to have this nice long hair and now it was all gone! I hadn't even recognized him at first. We asked if they had any posters they could sign, but since they didn't I had them sign my schedule. As we passed each band member I smiled up at each of them, but none of them even glanced at me. They were all in their own little world, not paying attention to any of their fans. When we got out of line I felt upset and rejected. I was missing one of my favorite band's sets for these assholes! So my mother and I fast walked to the other side of the venue and ended up catching the last few songs of their set.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was worse than the last one. Oh well. I hope you enjoyed anyway.

7 Days Until Warped Tour!
Since this is my first Warped Tour story, I'm going to make it a positive one. . .
Once upon a time in Scranton, Pennsylvania a young girl named Tony waited in line with her mother. They were waiting to meet one of Tony's favorite bands, Tonight Alive. It was a hot summer day and they had been walking around all day and now they had to stand in line for fifteen minutes. Both of them sat on the ground as the line moved slowly. All around them there was the sound of screaming fans and the distant sound of music. When the line had moved forward and they finally got to the band they were met by one of the bands guitarist, but Tony hadn't realized that until he started talking.
Has he shaved his mustache? Tony thought. Oh my God! He has!
She laughed to herself as they moved along. The band's drummer, other guitarist, and bass player all looked up at her as they signed her poster and she smiled back at them. It was a wonderful smile. One filled with excitement and joy. Finally her and her mother made it to the lead singer. Tony didn't hear a word her or her mother said. She couldn't believe she was really standing there in front of her!! After she signed her poster, Tony's mother took a picture of the two of them.
Tony walked away from the tent happier than she's ever been.
That was my wonderful story. I'm not very good at story telling, but I hope you enjoyed it!

Warped Tour Countdown: 8 Days!!!
I went to my first Warped Tour when I was 13 in 2012 and it has become a yearly thing for me, my mother, and my friend, Savannah. Warped Tour is always the best day of the year for me and I'm really excited to be going back for the third time! So since there's only a week and a day left until Warped Tour 2014, starting tomorrow I'm going to be sharing memories of Warped Tour from the previous times that I went! This should be interesting.

She's Still There
It's so common for friends to let me down and I usually know when them letting me down is becoming a problem and I'll tell them. But I have this friend who keeps breaking promises and lying to me but I can't let her go.
Why?
Because I have a "vibe meter" that's pretty accurate. I can tell when someone is a good or bad person and I can tell when there's still hope. My friend has been a shitty friend lately but I know her and I know that things she's doing aren't her. They're her boyfriend and the people she's been hanging out with. I also feel like I should blame every person who romanticizes drugs and partying because it seems like part of the problem is that she thinks things like that are cool.
I know the girl I met in the beginning of the year is still there and she knows it too. When we were walking down to the brook, just the two of us she said: "This is the [her name] you remember, right?" And I was stunned to hear her say that because I was beginning to lose hope. But the old girl is still there.
I just hope I can help her find that girl before she's gone forever.

Bus Stops
Yesterday I was walking on a walking trail when I found what looked like a bus stop. I found a few more of these and was extremely confused so I decided to take a picture. Maybe someone else could shed some light.
